Five Days to Focus Your Firm

Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a unique series of training programmes designed to help senior law practitioners build and create exceptional law practices in just five days.

The interactive programme, delivered by Beyond the Brief training consultancy, will consist of five one-day workshops, starting with the strategy behind creating an exceptional law firm and how to implement change management best practices. Taking place on 27th May at Warren Bruce Court in Trafford Park, the first course will inform attendees of the opportunities for law practices in the changing legal landscape and provide advice on how to steer their teams through times of uncertainty.

Commenting on the programme, entitled ‘Create an Exceptional Law Firm in 5 Days’, course leader, Ann Page, said:

“From my work with leaders in law firms, I’m acutely aware of the problems senior partners and lawyers encounter on a daily basis. All law firms are going through challenging times and will need to prepare for Corporates and Alternative Business Structures implications on their legal practices. The key to survival is, knowing how to develop and implement a strategy for team involvement and ownership, and how to adopt new business models to beat the competition and ensure best practice. We use expert presenters and speakers and facilitate discussions to share tips and techniques, which will give delegates the best tools possible to keep their firm at the top of its game.”

The programme then continues into June and July with workshops on Finance and Operational Risk Management (4th June), 11th June Marketing and Business Development (18th June) and Leading and Managing Teams (8th July).
